My Blog Anniversary

In honor of my one year anniversary (this past Tuesday), I've perused all 270 posts to see what, if any, real value I've gleaned or shared in the past year and I'm pleased to say that it has not been an entire waste of time -- although it has been a PARTIAL waste of time. I've listed some of the more useful posts and conveniently NOT listed the most babbling, obtuse, and nonsensical ones.

By the way, if you need anniversary gift suggestions -- Final Draft, squirrel repellant, Tijuana Brass CD's and does anyone know if the 1968 Banana Splits program is available on DVD?

Four banana, three banana, two bananas, one
All bananas playing in the bright warm sun
Flipping like a pancake, popping like a cork,
Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork
So, I guess I'll keep this up another year -- or, until I run out of things to say.

Cool... Something to read during my breaks.

Already read how you got the line, "He's a tool."

Funny stuff.

Unk

Cayenne pepper will repel squirrels. Also will cure a sore throat. The spice that keeps giving!
Oh, and expect your blog counter to be thrown off as I revisit several times to read all the links. Sorry to mess up your traffic.

Thrilled to have my blog counter jump -- always wanted to be one of the popular kids.

Yay MaryAnn & Happy Bloggo-Year!!!
You are indeed an idea whose time has come and no army of indifference, misunderstanding and duplicity (i.e. the Biz) will ultimately be able to withstand you. xx B.

Happy blogoversary Maryan! And thanks for posting links to your greatest hits - I've found the rom-com stuff really useful.

Belated happy blogiversary! I'm afraid I don't know where to get the Banana Splits on DVD but I can sing you the song. Here's to another year of many more excellent posts.

I even scoured the "grey market" for Banana Splits dvds and closest I came was 4 episodes on dvd transferred from VHS, but look what I found? Danger Island! Link probably won't work here but search for Banana Splits dvd on ebay

Uh oh, Chongo! Aren't you the chivalrous darlin' for searching for me, Todd!

Yeah, Sal, I thought about recording it for hottie cartoon me to sing, but "Tra la la, la la la la" just didn't sound so great a capella.

OR, hope you're having better Rom Com luck than I've had. All that research can make me a better writer but doesn't seem to have made me any more romantic.

MHM, I use liquid cayenne for clearing my throat before I sing so I'm thinking -- hmm, cayenne on their nuts. Could work for squirrels AND men who stand too close to my desk.

Billy, I'd hug you but, really, don't get too close to my desk.
