Been following this film for almost my entire three years of screenwriting and finally, a release date and a trailer for Déjà Vu. Three whole years. Yeah, I hear ya. Big whoop. You've been doing it ten. The point is that even as a li'l sprout, I was hearing about this picture.
I don't recall the details but reports in early 2005 said the screenplay for Déjà Vu had sold for seven figures. This is the first film to shoot in post Katrina New Orleans.
Written By: Bill Marsilii & Terry Rossio
Release Date: November 22nd, 2006 (wide)

$5 mill, that must be a spec record now... the premise is a bit Terminatorish without the sci-fi tech effects but looks great, just saw the trailer
Terry has some comments on Wordplay about it where he says something about it being an incomrehensible mess -- don't wanna quote him but you can read it here --

I have a feeling I've seen that trailer before...
Saw this trailer in the theatres. I'll see anything with Denzel in it.

I saw the Deja Vu trailer online then had the opportunity to talk to Mr. R about the movie while in line to see Pirates. He said he hadn't seen the trailer, but said don't see the movie, read the script instead. He said it will be up on Wordplay sooner than later.
Then, of course, what trailer comes on before Pirates?
