Pursuit of Dreams

That's my kid, a living lesson in pursuing dreams and not waiting on anyone else to do it for him. His dreams. Certainly not mine. The lesson? You pursue your dreams. I'll pursue mine. And, we'll avoid the fish -- you know, little fish/big pond metaphors and calling each other a fish out of water -- unless, of course, you're a fish who wants to be a bird. Even so, I've heard of flying fish.

Glad he's living a dream. What does he do? You didn't mention it.

Performance wrestling. Yeah, people say it's fake, but the athleticism, gymnastics, and injuries are very real!

MaryAn, I'm now ready to show that romantic comedy spec. script I wrote you about back in Feburuary. If you're interested in reading it, shoot me an e-mail. If not, well-p, that'll be that.

Play nice, people. I appreciate the chivalry, but misunderstandings happen. No biggie. Which "T" is this?

So cool with your son! I can't even imagine how tough that is physically...and it is such a different pursuit that is ROCKS that he went for it. Actually inspired me that going for this whole screenwriting thing might be obtainable too! :)

Thanks, Cheryl. It does inspire won to pursue goals. I've had to learn to watch an entertainment sport that I despise. But it's fun seeing what he can do. Amazing things that defy gravity and make me shudder. The things we do for our kids! By the way, that photo is a few weeks ago when he won his first belt.
